Limp Bag-like Structure (Differential Diagnosis as before)

Newborn with a limp and bag-like structure which is bleeding at its border. In this case with thoracolumbar myelomeningocele the arachnoid and the partially epithelialized archanoid is ruptured spontaneously. The cerebrospinal fluid is evacuated, therefore, the cele is limp. The bleeding is from a vessel of the epithelialized arachnoid ($$turu_12??nr=2££see figure for comparison§§). Following the rupture of the arachnoid there is an increased danger of infection from the outside with subsequent ascending meningitis.
