Local Findings 1 (Non-Inflammatory Breast Enlargement)

tubr_3_n.jpg: Close-up of the right chest wall of a 9-day-old newborn girl with a distinctly recognizable right mammary gland. The areola as well the body of the gland is incrased, the latter by more than 1 centimeter. It is not a premature macromastia, but a physiological macromastia of the newborn which reaches its maximum 2 to 3 weeks postnatally and decreases thereafter more or less fast.
