Skin Retraction (Torsion of the Testis)

External genitals in a developed teenager with acute testicular pain. In the middle of the scrotum there is a punctuated and reddish skin retraction !£skro_9_p£!. The right testis is enlarged, painful on palpation, and in a high position. As additional finding, there are underneath the thin skin of the left scrotum irregularly and sinuously prominent blood vessels. ($$skro_15??££see picture for comparison§§). A rarely observed clinical sign in torsion of the testis is a localized skin retraction. Abnormal site, pain on palpation, and absent cremasteric reflex are nearly always present in testicular torsion.
