Pterygium Colli (Differential Diagnosis Congenital Muscular Torticollis)

5.9-year-old girl with a prominent cord on the right side of the neck and slightly tilted head. This finding reminds the clinician of pterygium colli. The latter is usually bilateral, and the cord is a skin fold In fact, this girl has a right congenital muscular torticollis; the muscle is fibrotic across its whole length.
