The internal sagittal diameter is measured on the x-ray from the inner surface of the osseous depression to the surface of the opposite vertebral body. peex_21b_n.jpg: The inner thoracic sagittal diameter has increased from 5.5 to 7 cm within 9 months after surgery. Also, the kyphotic deformity of the thoracic spine has disappeared after surgery.
