Pectus Carinatum (Differential Diagnosis Funnel Chest)

Drawing of a pectus carinatum which is sometimes mixed up with a funnel chest. In pectus carinatum the sternum protudes in contrast to the funnel chest in which the sternum is depressed. There are symmetrical and asymmetrical forms; the more frequent caudal type, and the rare cranial type of pigeon breast.
