Pull-through operation, fourth step. View from the bottom to the buttocks: The evaginated, divided and partially anastomosed wound edges of the distal sigmoid and the anal channel are visible. The operating step described in obst_25b_n.jpg is nearly finished. At 12 to 7 o'clock lie the tied sutures of the sigmoidoanal anastomosis; at 8 to 11 o'clock the sutures must still be laid.
