Semimalignant Types (Neurogenic Mediastinal Tumors)

metu_4_n.jpg: Operative findings in a 8-year-old girl with a view after incision of the mediastinal pleura and blunt preparation. This tumor has a distinct capsule with well defined boundaries and is located cranially in the left posterior mediastinum. The length is 5 to 6 cm and the width 3 to 4 cm. The clinically and operatively suspected diagnosis of a ganglioneuroma was confirmed histologically.
