Contusion Abdominal Wall (Differential Diagnosis as before)
12.10-year-old boy with a contusional mark of the abdominal wall. This hemorrhagic mark is visible on the left side of the navel and combined with a abrasion of the skin below the navel.
The diagnosis is a contusion and abrasion of the abdominal wall. Such local findings
may be observed in blunt abdominal trauma. In case of missing history of trauma
it may be the only indication of an abdominal wall contusion or even of a lesion of an intraabdominal organ, e.g. of a pancreas contusion.
