Face prior/post Surgery (Transposition Osteotomy)
Figure kran_21a_n.jpg: Face of a 10-month-old girl with a bilateral lambdoid synostosis preoperatively. The front is very broad.
Figure kran_21b_n.jpg: 6 months after transposition osteotomy. The face has changed in its proportions in spite of the advanced age at surgery; the head contour is now narrower and longer. The lower the age at surgery, the better the spontaneous correction, and the later the follow-up, the more distinct the remodelling, mainly of the face.
