Excrescences of Bladder Mucosa

hage_32_n.jpg: 14.6-year-old girl with symptoms of a granular cystitis. On endoscopy, instead of opaque vesicles irregular excrescences of the bladder mucosa are visible like polyps of nearly similar size. The diagnosis is a bullous cystitis which is observed less frequently than the granular type. It is mainly of differential diagnostic significance; it must be differentiated from rhabdomyosarcoma of the bladder by biopsy.
