Angiofibroma (Interlabial Mass)
Newborn girl with an intralabial mass. The mass starts from the posterior circumference of the urethral orifice and from the anterior border of the introitus of the vagina, exhibits finger-like processes and a smooth coat of a mucous membrane.
The histological diagnosis is angioleimyofibroma which belongs to the benign tumor-like lesions of the blood vessels and should not be mixed up with a botryosarcoma of the genitals. Ulcerations of the mass may leed to genital bleedings.
