Adhesion of the Labia (Discharge, Genital Bleeding)
gebl_15_n.jpg: 2-year-old girl with a seeming closure of the introitus of the vagina analogously to the two alternate figures linked below: A very thin membrane is visible between the posterior commissure of the vulva and the union of the frenulum of the clitoris. This thin membrane has an opening in its posterior third.
The pathognomonic finding of synechia of the labia minora, namely 'thin, nearly transparent dividing line between the labia minora' is more obvious in this patient than in the girl presented before. The symptoms and signs described in $$gebl_14??nr=1££alternate figure 1§§, $$gebl_14??nr=2££alternate figure 2§§ are not completely present in every case.
